At 05:30 last night Delta platoon left in a blackhawk for an insertion near the Russian front on Malden. At 06:30 we received a distress call from that blackhawk, saying that they had been hit and were going down. From the Russian radio activity we've been monitoring we have reason to believe that at least some of Delta platoon are still alive. With the Russians advancing so quickly the area is probably occupied by the Russians already, so we think that two small squads of four men each have the best chance of being able to search the area and rescue Delta platoon.
You are part of Alpha platoon, which will be inserted by boat here. Bravo platoon will be also be inserted by boat here. You are to move to the north through the search area. Having found Delta platoon, or completed your search, both Alpha and Bravo platoons will meet here for extraction by boat. Good luck.
